There is nothing better than being dead asleep and waking up to the weight of silent paws walking across your body. Followed by soft purring whiskers across your face, until finally the warm presence balls up onto your chest and you fall asleep together.
Unfortunately I cannot get one because I have a cockatiel at home and worry about his safety since he likes to wander around the couch and stuff. Can’t really give him up to someone else either since I’ve had him for about 3 years now :/. Unfortunately, pet birds aren’t for me personally
I wonder if you were to get kittens that’ll grow up to be accustomed to your cockatiel as their older (weird looking cat) sibling. Not saying it’s a done deal, but I have seen people with cats also have guinea pigs, bunnies and birbs, all getting on. I would imagine not being able to have certain playtime that’ll trigger the cat’s natural instincts that’ll activate when your bird would fly around though.
Chinchillas and degus could be awesome to get too!
HE’S MY FIRST ORANGE BABY, AND I WAS CHOSEN. I AM READY.
He has already caused so much, dude. He was snuggling me and I rolled my face right into poop. Never in my life have I gotten poop on my teeth, but when I say I pterodactyl screeched—
I’m about to go brush my teeth right now. He has the nerve to follow me everywhere.😭
Don't mind the floor that needs vacuumed. Hubby and I are both dealing/recovering from some bad body pains (a gout flare-up for him, arthritic neck for me).
This is Flurffy McNurgget; Nurg for short. The CDS decided we need a third cat so he came waltzing into our house after about a week of being a stray and sticking around outside. That was almost a year ago. He's a youngin', around 2ish.
This is Loki. He's definitely burdened with glorious purpose in being an agent for chaos and looking incredibly cute as well. He and his "brother from another mother" Set are 7. We got them around the same time late 2019 right before lockdown. Loki still chews up anything he can get his hands on. His favorites being cardboard, paper, and anything cord-like. We have to bitter apple every cord as soon as it comes into the house because of him.
And this little grandma we rescued, apparently she never had a home and was a stray her whole life and she’s around 11 years old (ignore the missing fur lol they had to draw blood to see if everything’s fine)
Our cat just celebrated her 10th Birthday yesterday! She shares a birthday with our dog who just turned 2 but also my mom! I love that she let me put the party hat on her back 😁
These are foster kittens through a rescue. Not my own kittens. They also had plenty of space and chose to get comfortable right next to their litter pan.
